Guidelines for Sunday Hosts

1. Provide cookies or other refreshments and punch for about 50 people. (More on holidays, fewer in the summer and on Sundays immediately following a holiday)
2. Check first to be sure dishwasher is empty.
3. Put out enough coffee cups, punch cups, and tea spoons for all to be served.
4. Serve the goodies in the Fireside Room shortly after the service concludes.  No need to serve immediately, or to leave the service early to set up.
5. Sugar is in the kitchen cupboard.  Fresh half and half is appreciated, but not essential.
6. HOSTS ARE ALL REQUIRED TO CLEAN UP. We have only a very part-time janitor, so
   • Load and run dishwasher.  Please don't leave for the secretary to run.
   • Sweep kitchen floor and wipe down cabinet tops.
   • Check refrigerator to see if anything green, moldy or smelly needs to be disposed of.
   • Empty the coffeepot and rinse.
   • Wipe table tops in Fireside Room and use carpet sweeper.
7. It is not necessary  to provide altar flowers, but many hosts enjoy doing so.
